The Board of Trustees is well supported by Local Governing Bodies within individual schools. At Shirwell, our Local Governing Body is made up of committed parents and community representatives who provide valuable local insight, challenge, and support to the Headteacher. Their role ensures that provision at Shirwell reflects the needs of our community and maintains high standards.

The Local Governing Body also plays an important part in influencing and communicating with the Trust Board on key decisions affecting the future of the school and wider Trust.
